Holistic Hound started with the worry and stress of caring for a dog with itchy, sensitive skin. Erica’s own dog Buster struggled with grass allergies and persistent irritation. Living on 12 acres made managing his sensitivities a challenge, especially when he loved nothing more than rolling through the grass. What began as a personal search for relief soon revealed a wider problem, and the idea for Holistic Hound took shape around finding practical solutions for itchy skin. Erica reached out to Suzanne Hall for formulation advice, and the partnership for Holistic Hound naturally followed. It’s a lovely full-circle story, from friendship to business partnership.
